Description
Set in the heart of rural Nottinghamshire, Floral Media is 15 acre site which offers horticultural delight around every corner. The gardens have been developed over the past 20 years with wildflower meadows and interesting sculptures. Their most recent development is their fabulous field of dreams Flower Farm supplying local florists, farm shops and offering DIY buckets.
Let Paula and Steven give you sneak peak of their beautiful gardens and field of dreams. They will talk about the different of varieties of Narcissus and Tulips that will be trending for Spring 2025, their use of block planting within the field and how their planting plan will look together with tips on anticipated site preparation over the winter. We will then set to work and start bulb planting.
Over the last 30 years Steven and Paula Routledge BEM, have built a solid reputation for delivering a service that is second to none. They have a wealth of experience and depth of knowledge within not only the Horticultural and Florist sector, but also in the events field. Paula’s repertoire as a RHS judge, Chelsea flower show medallist, NAFAS North Midlands Demonstrator and BBC Radio Nottingham gardening broadcaster gives her a large scope to share knowledge and expertise.
Not only are Paula and Steven horticulturally minded but they are also excellent hosts. They will provide you with free teas and coffees throughout the day together with a hot lunch in their beautiful dining area.
Please add a note to your booking order to explain any dietary requirements. You will need your own water bottles and appropriate gardening attire.
The cost of this event is £20. Gloves and weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
