Permaculture in the Garden
Tring, Hertfordshire Saturday 23rd June
This workshop will demonstrate how Permaculture Design can be used to create a garden that is productive, diverse and wildlife-friendly.
There will be an opportunity to observe nature’s systems at work and how these can be applied to a small-scale project. The workshop will be interactive, and participants will be able to develop preliminary ideas for designing their own garden space, using permaculture principles and techniques. There will also be a discussion about garden-friendly varieties of edible plants and how a garden relates to its surrounding environment. The tutor for the day will be permaculture designer and teacher Cecilia Litvinoff, in her own garden.
The garden shows that much can be achieved in a short time, using imagination and a variety of resources produced within the garden itself.
